FAQS
As our boom lifts are computerized, the machines are able to calculate loads based on wind conditions. This allows the machine to be operated as normal even during strong winds, up to a maximum wind speed of 28 MPH (12.5m/s). Rain will have no effect on the boom lift, however, the boom lift should not be operated during a thunderstorm.
It is usually only battery-powered boom lifts that are used indoors to help reduce emissions and noise, whereas outdoor models can run on diesel and other fuels for increased power and endurance. Operating a diesel-powered boom lift indoors would require substantial ventilation.
